Julian Rhee made his Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra debut at age 8, and has gone on to be featured with many orchestras including the Indianapolis Symphony, Aspen Philharmonic, Santa Rosa Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, East Coast Chamber Orchestra, Eugene Symphony, and Madison Symphony Orchestra. The Silver Medalist of the 11th Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, Mr. Rhee was also awarded First Prize at the Elmar Oliveira Competition, and beginning in 2024, will join Chamber Music Society Lincoln Center’s prestigious Bowers Program. Julian is the recipient of the 1699 ‘Lady Tennant’ Stradivarius on generous loan through the Stradivari Society, Bein and Fushi, and Mary B. Galvin Foundation. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at the New England Conservatory with Miriam Fried. Julian is a winner of the 2021 Astral Artists National Competition.
