Principal oboist of The Florida Orchestra in the 2019-2020 season, Mitchell Kuhn has been concerto soloist with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and made his debut with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Recently, he was a part of both the “Music For Life” and “Beethoven for the Rohingya: A Concert For The Rohingya Refugees” concerts at Carnegie Hall. He has participated in the New York String Orchestra Seminar, Marlboro Music, Verbier Festival Orchestra, Music Academy of the West, National Orchestra Institute, Kent/Blossom Music Festival, National Symphony Orchestra Summer Music Institute, and the Tanglewood Institute. He earned a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and is currently a Young Artist with the Center for Musical Excellence.
