Safety Protocols for 2021 National Auditions Concert
Updated 9.20.21

Astral is committed to providing safe and healthy concert experiences for our audience, artists, and staff.

We join many Philadelphia arts organizations in requiring audiences to provide proof of vaccination upon entry to our concerts and require that audiences remain masked for the duration of the event. Proof of vaccination can be the physical vaccination card or a photo/copy (we’ll accept a photo on your phone ) along with photo ID. Unfortunately, as children under 12 are not yet eligible for vaccination, we cannot admit them at this time.

All Astral staff and performing artists have been vaccinated. Artists may or may not wear masks while actively performing, as they feel comfortable.

Seating for all our concerts remains general admission but expect seating to look a little different than you may be used to. We will be monitoring capacity and ticket sales, allowing for additional distance between audience parties. As an additional safety measure, we are eliminating intermission from our 2021 National Auditions Winners Concert as well as all pre-concert activities.

These protocols are in line with guidelines from the Philadelphia Department of Public Health as well as our concert venues. As we know from the recent past, guidelines frequently change. We will update our protocols for our next concert, Beomjae Kim, flute in early November.
