Hailed as “…an artist of tremendous conviction, who fascinates even as she provokes…” (Gramophone Magazine), “…a thrillingly good pianist…” (The New Yorker), and for her “…big, gorgeous tone and…mesmerizing touch” (The Philadelphia Inquirer), Ms. Li-Cohen has performed in notable venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Concert Hall, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, WQXR’s Greene Space, the Smithsonian Museum, Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center, Finland’s Helsinki Music Centre, Norway’s Grieghallen, and Germany’s Berliner Philharmonie. Highlights of upcoming projects include concerti appearances with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and the Knoxville, Fairbanks, Bucks County, Dominican Republic and Johns Hopkins Symphony Orchestras, recitals in New York, Chicago, Alaska, South Carolina, Rhode Island and album recordings for the Steinway & Sons label featuring works by Sergei Bortkiewicz, Beethoven, and traditional Chinese works.
