Recognized on New York WQXR’s “19 for ’19 Artists to Watch” list, Xavier Foley was the winner of a 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant, the 2017 Musical Fund Society of Philadelphia Career Advancement Award, and the 2014 Sphinx Competition. He has appeared as soloist with the Atlanta Symphony, Nashville Symphony, Brevard Concert Orchestra, Orchard Park Symphony Orchestra, Sphinx Symphony Orchestra, and with the Sphinx Virtuosi, in both Carnegie Hall and on a national tour. A winner of the 2016 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, he is a resident artist of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s CMS Two program. Also a composer, he is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied both composition and performance.
