Zhenni Li was the unanimous First Prize winner of the Concours Musical de France. She also received top prizes from the International Russian, Grieg, Midwest, Kosciusko Chopin, and Heida Hermanns international piano competitions. She has performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Merkin Concert Hall, the Grieghallen in Norway, and the Berliner Philarmonie. She recently released her debut CD Melancholie, for the Steinway & Sons label, to great acclaim. Upcoming, she appears as concerto soloist with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra and releases a recording of works of Sergei Bortkiewicz, entitled Une lettre, also for Steinway & Sons. She holds degrees from The Juilliard School and the Yale School of Music, and currently pursues a doctoral degree at McGill University.
