Winner of the 2017 Musical Fund Society of Philadelphia Career Advancement Award, Xavier Foley was also the First Prize winner of the 2014 Sphinx Competition. As such, he has appeared as soloist with the Sphinx and Atlanta symphony orchestras and the Nashville Symphony, and made his Carnegie Hall solo debut with the Sphinx Virtuosi. He was also a winner of the 2016 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, and has been selected as a resident artist of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s CMS Two program, beginning in the 2018-2019 season. Also a composer, he is a 2016 graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied both composition and performance. He has also trained as part of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Talent Development Program.
