The 2013 Lyon & Healy Award winner, Rachel Lee Hall has also been the recipient of prizes from the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra’s Anne Jett Rogers Award, the Saratoga Harp Colony “Play with the Pros” Competition, the Roanoke Youth Symphony Orchestra Young Artist’s Awards, and the James Bland Music Contest of the Lions Club. The 2015 Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) Presser Scholar, she was also a winner of the 2015 CIM Concerto Competition. She has performed as principal harpist with the Akron Symphony Orchestra, Firelands Symphony Orchestra, and Roanoke Symphony Orchestra, and was a fellow with the National Repertory Orchestra. She holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and currently serves on the faculty of Hollins University in Virginia.
